These projects are based on SQL Server 2005 tools and technology and leverage heavily IDOT’s significant Geographic Information System infrastructure. Several clever and creative innovations linking the worlds of Business Intelligence and Geographic Information Systems have emerged from the team.

As a management and technology consultant for Veolia Environmental Services (Baytown, TX), I worked closely with senior management to envision, design, deploy and subsequently support a project called Performance Management Technology or PMT. PMT, based on Microsoft BI tools and technologies, made valuable service information instantly available to Veolia's customers in support of the customer's cost reduction and process re-engineering initiatives. PMT gives my client the ability to stand out competitively in an otherwise crowded field, in a tough commodity business environment.
